It’s in T. Oliver Country

The State Co-ordinating Committee of the Pacific Green Party of Oregon has announced that the Second State Nominating Convention of the Party will be held Saturday, 13 August 2016, in a little library building in the far Southeastern part of the city of Portland.

It is a few blocks away from Reed College. My two sons [who will be, God willing and the creek dont rise, graduating Grant High School on the same day next June, both valedictorians] have different lists of college choices:

Michael Kepler’s list:

1. Reed College
2. Julliard School of Music
3. Curtis Institute
4. Univ. of Oregon

John Dominic’s list is different:

1. Princeton
2. Caltech
3. Reed

but it also includes Reed. Too bad we couldn’t meet there. We are scheduled to convene at around 10 a.m. at the intersection of so-called Woodstock Boulevard, which runs by Reed College, and S.E. 60th. Exact address is 6008 S.E. 49th.

See you there.
