The probably nominee of the Green Party of the United States for the position of President of the United States visited Portland, as part of her swing through Oregon, last week.

A house party at Mark and Amanda Smith’s Wednesday afternoon was her first event, and is available on video on the previous post on this site. The Eighteenth Street Peace House hosted a panel on climate change attended by four speakers and an audience of 40-50, and on the following morning Dr Stein gave a speech at a press conference before two television stations and KBOO (the video of which is here).  The portrait of the group at the top of this column was taken really at the request of the KBOO reporter.
