This Is What Bush Should Have Done

I see from the London conservative newspaper The Telegraph, that one Khalid al-Fawwaz has been convicted after a jury trial in New York City, of providing substantial material support for the al-Quaeda network that destroyed the World Trade Center and damaged the Pentagon a decade and a half ago.

He was extradited after a long legal process, during which his rights were honored by the US authorities.

He had a trial, with legal representation, with the usual safeguards against lynching, both physical and metaphoric.

The Green Party has always said that that was what the Imperial American authorities under the administration of George W. Bush ought to have done.

Here is an election speech of mine which makes that point in some detail. The person sitting right next to me in the room is Seth Woolley.
