In Addition to Being a Liar

Charlie Hales is a coward.

Charlie Hales personally ordered my arrest: I heard the arresting officer, the first time I was confined to the back of the patrol car outside of City Hall, saying over the phone, “Yes, Mister Mayor,” several times.

The arrest was illegal. I was arrested while waiting quietly and non-disruptively on the public area of the Mayor’s waiting room.

And now, on the eve of the trial (that is to say, just this afternoon, late in the day), from my attorney comes:

Mr. Meo,

I have news.

The District Attorney’s office has chosen to dismiss the Mayors office cases. Those cases as of now have been officially dismiss[ed]. They have not been dismissed with prejudice so there is a possibility that they could be re-charged.
