It is the Third of November
It is Monday morning, at 8:10 am
Your Intrepid Reporter is at the Bento & Coffee Two in the basement of the Portland Building, the one with the large under appreciated statue of a beneficent Goddess of the River.
Mike Tabor, Jose S. and Another Man Named Joe join me.
At 8:12 Kathy Bushman walked in.
We had a political meeting, waiting to plan Joe Walsh’s appeal hearing, to take place at 9:00, we presume at City Hall.
8:30 Jose Serrica says Muhammed Ali was one of his heroes, back in the Vietnam war.
8:39 Kathy B. says Reese has a long record of promoting those officers found violating official policy.
8:40 Jose S. quotes PPB spokesman at community meeting yesterday responding to police brutality charges by asking for more money.
8:45 The strategy of waiting for guest of honor Joe Walsh to appear not having worked necessarily to our advantage, the decision is made to check the presumption that said Giuseppi Uashcho was to have a 9 am hearing in City Hall.
8:53 We five reassemble on the 2nd Floor of said City Hall, without a shred left to us as alternative but READ THE FRIGGIN’ EMAIL; which being done, we leave for the 3rd floor of 1900 Building, on 2nd not 3rd.
9:12 The guard at the door of the Third Floor Hearing Room turns us away, as the hearing room is closed. No, wait, the hearing is over. Joe Walsh’s hearing is postponed until 5 December.
That’s how it went, in the basement of the Portland Building in the Bento & Coffee Too, Monday morning when we all went to the wrong place.
