The Oregonian on My Picture

The monopoly newspaper of the mainstream media gave me some press coverage, here.

I apologize for the delay in posting it, now some 12 days after the fact. It was only my 16-year-old son, Michael Kepler Meo, an inveterate web-surfer, who brought it to my attention a few minutes ago.

Among the pleasant surprises was Seth Woolley’s generous and timely tribute to my record of public service in the comments. Thank you, Seth.

About M. Meo

Worked as translator, museum technician, truck lumper, lecture demonstrator, teacher (of English as a Second Language, science, math). Married for 25 years, 2 boys aged 18 & 16 (both on the Grant cross-country team). A couple of scholarly publications in the history of science. Two years in federal penitentiary, 1970/71, for refusing the draft.
